OUR PRIORITIES

Valley Urban Action Alliance is an Arizona not-for-profit promoting healthy, safe, economically inclusive, and resource-efficient communities by advocating for walkable, transit-connected neighborhoods by way of urban land use reforms. 

With community partners, VUAA works to empower Phoenix area residents to safely walk, use micro-mobility, socialize, and play in public space. We work with local municipal leaders and communities to facilitate space-efficient, mixed-use development and human-scale infrastructure. 

Through direct local government action, VUAA aims to lower housing and transportation costs and facilitate connected, affordable communities in the Valley of the Sun.
